Prior to booking any session with Loch Morlich Watersports please read through the following Booking Terms and Conditions.
Loch Morlich Watersports receives guidance and information from Governing Bodies, Scottish Government and NHS Scotland.
Currently we plan to operate with extra and additional sanitation of all equipment which people use such as wetsuits/buoyancy aids.
Supervision of Youngsters—Please supervise your children when on the water. Or better still - always supervise your children!
How We Take Payments
Loch Morlich Watersports accepts bookings via the booking portal on its website. Certain areas of this website require you to input personal details including credit or debit card details. We do not store payment card details nor do we share customer details with any other parties. This is outlined further in our Privacy Policy.
Customer Cancellations
For a full refund, cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice including participants changing their mind on the day will not be refunded.
Please make sure you arrive on time for your session. If you arrive late, we will try to accommodate you, however this may not be possible, and you will not be refunded.
Loch Morlich Watersports Cancelations
Loch Morlich Watersports reserves the right to cancel any session at any time. This will usually be due to events outside of our control and for safety reasons. In the unlikely event of this happening, a full refund will be given.
We do not offer compensation for other costs incurred (for example travel costs). Loch Morlich Watersports reserves the right to cancel the session without a refund if participants are behaving in a way that we believe may spoil the enjoyment of others.
Safety
Participants should be able to swim—non swimmers must satisfy the Centre staff that they are water confident.
Participants must follow the instructions of Loch Morlich watersports staff.
Medical and Behavioural information
Persons making a booking must ensure full disclosure of any medical, psychological or behavioural condition that may affect an individual’s participation.
Insurance
All events organised by Loch Morlich Watersports are covered by public liability insurance. Loch Morlich Watersports recommends that you have personal accident insurance to cover any injury or loss during our activities and also recommend that you have some form of travel or holiday insurance in place to cover for any cancellation that is made by you.
Participants are recommended to minimise taking valuables on activities. Where they do, Loch Morlich Watersports cannot take responsibility for any loss or damage.
Life Jackets and Buoyancy Aids
Must be worn at all times whilst on the water and must be correctly fastened. A staff member will show you how you can do so.
Equipment
Equipment must be returned to the designated at the end of the session. Defects and breakages must be notified on return.
Clothing (watersports)
If not hiring or using a wetsuit, suitable clothing should be worn.
Loch Morlich Staff
Participants must follow instructions given by Loch Morlich Watersports staff.

Kayak - 15 Stone/95 Kg
Canoe - 17 Stone/110kg
Stand Up Paddleboard - 17 Stone/110kg
Other Water Users
Participants must respect other water users and visitors. Please also respect the wildlife and plant life around the loch.
The nature of watersports involves the possibility of getting wet. There is close proximity to the water. There is a chance of total immersion if the boat capsizes. The water and air temperature will have an influence on what to wear. The style and duration of the lesson can be affected by cold weather. Loch Morlich Watersports has an established reputation for putting safety first. We are passionate about the benefits of the activities and approaches that we use. We also recognise that challenge and adventure entail coping with risk and that accidents and personal discomfort may occur from time to time. You will almost certainly have to put up with the changeable Scottish weather, you may fall off your mountain bike and when taking part in a watersports you may get wet and cold! Minor cuts, bumps and bruises are not uncommon.
Loch Morlich Watersports places great emphasis on safety, however there is an element of risk involved and, as with all outdoor activities, there are some physical demands that are inherent in the sport.
