Loch Morlich Watersports - Covid-19 Update 28th May 2020.
Phase 1 – Loch Morlich Watersports remains closed
As Scotland enters Phase I – the message to National Parks from the First Minster is:
Advice for national parks: ‘It is the decision of the national parks but they should continue as they are - if the car parks and toilets have been closed, keep them closed’
This means that all the Forestry and Land (Scotland) car parks are closed at Loch Morlich and Glenmore. The beach and the trails are open and the travel guidance is:
‘Scots are now allowed to travel to different areas for recreation, although Ms Sturgeon asked people to get there by walking or cycling as much as possible and to avoid public transport. However, people are advised not to travel further than five miles from their home’.
Loch Morlich Watersports prioritises protecting the local community and its staff, but hopes to see its customers old and new soon. Roll on Phase 2!
